Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Duties: The Accounting Manager must demonstrate understanding of accounting control and responsible for overseeing the staff and operational functions of Accounting Office in planning, organizing, and controlling all financial operations of the Company, to include strategic financial planning, annual budgeting, ensuring timely financial reporting to the Board of Directors and Management Team. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Responsible for preparing freight revenue and cost analysis. Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities. The Accounting Manager receives general guidance from the General Manager/President and performs management and complex accounting duties with a high level of independence and professional discretion in maintaining accountability for all financial and accounting requirements. Does other related duty as assigned from time to time.

Qualification Requirements: Graduate of Bachelors Degree in Accounting with 3 years of experience. Experience in the shipping industry and with strong analytical and communication skills. Understanding of mathematics,and accounting and financial processes. Must be able to pass an Accountant skill test with total Passing Score of 89% during application process. The skill testing and comprehension exam are required equally of both US and Foreign workers. With excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word/Time keeper system and MAS90 Accounting software. Familiar in CNMI/IRS tax preparation. Diploma Transcript of Record required.

Comments: Job opportunity full-time position commencing on October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2024. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in it's extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
