Job Title: | Scuba Diving Instructor |
Job Duties: | Guide the customer the proper way of diving and introduce the fun of scuba diving. Generally assessing customer at the dive site, informing the divers of the hazards. Check the diving equipment to make sure they are safe and functional. Briefing divers before going to points of dive site, suggesting dive routes at a specific site for divers. To asses the safety and suitability of customers under water. Handle reservations by email or phone. Teaches scuba diving techniques in open water to individuals who want to dive recreationally or obtain their scuba certification. Demonstrate basic scuba skills, accompany divers underwater and adapt to emergency situations so the student is confident and prepared for the activity. Interacts with students during the dive and must continually monitor performance to provide suggestions and additional training as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and transporting equipment, driving students to dive sites, stocking the boat appropriately with supplies and adhering to environmental protection procedures. |

Qualification Requirements: | Must have at least 12 months work experience as Scuba Diving Instructor. Must have a valid Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) License or related Scuba Diving License, and must submit Police Clearance and Drug test certification upon employment. Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 01, 2021 to September 30, 2022, THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
