Job Title: Store Room Clerk
Job Duties: 1. Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using computer. 2.Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yard. 3.Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. 4. Store items in warehouse: A. Store inventory in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, tools rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. B. Mark stock items. C. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. D. Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors. 5. Responsible for cleaning and maintenance. A. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, Equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. B. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. 6. Drive trucks in order to pick up emergency stock needs and deliver supply to designated locations. 7. Prepare and maintain records. A. Records inventories shortages, shipments, and goods used or issued. B. Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. 8. Handles insurance and distribution of inventories. A. Handles materials, products, parts, and supplies to coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions. B. Determine sequence and release of stocks according to stock availability. C. Recommend disposal of excess defective and/or obsolete stock. 9. Advise coworkers on the appropriateness of parts, supplies, or materials requested. 10. Compile, review and maintain data from delivery receipts, requisitions from other documents to assess supply needs. 11. Confer with purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability. 12. May perform other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Have at twelve months related experience. Must have knowledge of business involving strategic planning, resource allocation and coordination of people and resources. May have knowledge on raw materials, production process, quality control costs, and other techniques for maximizing ordering, storing, production and distribution of goods. Must have knowledge of administration and clerical procedure and systems such as managing files and records, verbal and written skills required. Able to lift containers at a minimum of 50 lbs is required most of the time. Be able and willing to work in flexible shifts, days, night, weekend and holidays.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing October 01, 2021, to September 30, 2022. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
