Job Title: Greenskeeper
Job Duties: Performs landscape or maintains grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortar less segment concrete masonry wall units. Maintain irrigation system such as repair and maintenance. Properly apply chemicals and fertilizer if needed. Ensure proper trimming, grooming, cutting, and maintenance of Golf Course and Hotel landscaping. Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws. Repair and maintain gasoline engines used to power equipment such as portable saws and lawn mowers. Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers. Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flowerbeds, walks, or walls. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. Pick up trash and dispose it properly around hotel areas and golf course. Water dry spot on the greens and tees, trees and plants using portable water tank and hoses. Mix and spray or spread fertilizer, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs and trees using spray rig for broadcast application and portable tank for spot application and spreader for fertilizer application. Fill sprayer tanks with water and chemicals according to formulas. Lift, push and swing nozzles, hoses and tubes to direct spray over designated areas. Identify turf and plants diseases to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Cover areas to specified depths with pesticides, applying knowledge of weather conditions, droplet size, elevation-to-distance ratios, and obstruction. Observe proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals and fertilizer. Record or fill up log sheet of daily consumption of chemicals and fertilizer. Operate various pieces of equipment in accordance with the company procedures and safety regulations. Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing regular checks on their functionality. Document regular maintenance check by fill in check list before using the equipment to address any irregularities or damages if any on the equipment. Provide preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and operating properly. Regularly clean equipment to preserve its quality and functionality. Maintain bunkers by fly mowing around it , edging using power edger and rake it on a daily basis to keep a well maintain bunkers. Perform some cultural practices such as aerating, verticutting and topdressing to avoid future problems and ensure a continuous acceptable condition of the golf course. Set cups, move tee markers and collect trash on a daily basis. Repair ball marks and fill in divot if necessary. Remove and replace any contamination on the greens. Use irrigation methods to adjust the amount of water consumption and to prevent waste. Maintain irrigation system including cleaning around the valve box and sprinkler heads, doing repair and preventive maintenance on the system. Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structure such as railings, greens house or fences using hands or power hand tools.

Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent with atleast three (3) months of experience as a greenskeeper or landscaper of a golf course as maintaining the greens of a golf course is significantly different from regular landscaping functions. Must be able to work outdoors, exposed to nature's element, for extended period of time. Must be able to lift atleast 50 lbs. Must be able to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 01, 2021 to September 30, 2021. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to atleast three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and subsistence to the place of origin or place of recruitment.
