| Job Duties: | Provide support and assist dentists in performing different dental procedures. Prepare patients and operatory room, set up instrument trays, sterilize or disinfect instruments. Take radio-graphs on adults and children. Use dental software to record patient information and input treatment plans. Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs. Performs prophylaxis and places sealants for children. Fabricate temporary restorations. Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts. Place retraction cord and take final impressions for crown and bridge. Provide post-operative instructions. Order and monitor dental supplies and equipment inventory. |
