Job Title: Automotive Service Technician and Mechanic
Job Duties: An Automotive Technician is responsible for the repair and preventive maintenance of automotive equipment . Duties include performing emission inspections, diagnostic testing of vehicles and replacement of worn components. The Auto Mechanic can work on brakes, engine, steering and electrical system. An understanding of engines is essential and prior automotive experience can be beneficial. Perform routine automotive maintenance task including oil change, tire rotation, transmission flushes, aircon recharges, front-end alignment, battery/headlight/taillight installation. Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair. Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customer problem and provide accurate repair recommendations. Inspect vehicles according to the States requirements for emissions and safety. Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test verify to verify soundness. Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and records. Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and work place safety.

Qualification Requirements: Must have 12 months minimum worked experience as Automotive Service Technicians and Mechanic. An automotive technician must be aware of the hazards of his job and take precautions to prevent accidents both the auto he is repairing and for his own safety. While the repair shop is often well lighted, the job is often dirty and greasy. Must be physically fit enough to reach into the automobiles engine to make necessary repairs. The job does require some lifting of heavy materials. Must be able to listen to the customers' description of their automobiles problem and determine how to proceed with its repair. Able to answer customers' questions in a polite and clean manner. Ability to cooperate all auto repair tools and knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022 THREE-FOURTHSGUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment.
