| Job Duties: | Applies layers of porcelain and other ceramic materials to metal frameworks to form dental prostheses such as crowns, bridges, and veneers according to prescription of dentist. Mixes porcelain to match the color of natural teeth. Build up and contour porcelain crowns and veneers as well as staining and glazing for finished product. Fabricate gold crowns by waxing, casting and polishing. Design, finish, and opaque PFM crowns. Create high-end aesthetic anterior and posterior restorations, as well as partial and complete dentures. |
