Job Duties: PERFORM WORK INVOLVING THE SKILLS OF TWO OR MORE MAINTENANCE OR CRAFT OCCUPATION TO KEEP MACHINES, MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT OR STRUCTURE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT IN REPAIR. DUTIES MAY INVOLVE PIPE FITTINGS; BOILER MAKING; INSULATING; ALIGNING AND BALANCING NEW EQUIPMENT AND REPAIRING BUILDINGS FLOOR AND STAIRS. CONDUCTING ROUTINE INSPECTION OF PREMISES AND EQUIPMENT, PERFORMING PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, HANDLING BASIC REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OVERSEEING CONTRACTORS WHEN PROFESSIONAL REPAIRS ARE NECESSARY. DIAGNOSING MECHANICAL ISSUES AND CORRECTING THEM. PERFORMS GENERAL REPAIRS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE A SPECIALIZED TECHNICIAN EXAMPLES MAY INCLUDE REPAIRING DRYWALL, PAINTING, AND REPAIRING DOORS AND OTHER BUILDING FIXTURES. PERFORMS ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON BUILDING SYSTEMS, CLEANS AND ASSISTS WITH UPKEEP OF THE FACILITIES. DO OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

Qualification Requirements: Must have at least 12-months of experience as General maintenance and building repairer and or similar job occupation. Must be able to report to work 5-days a week. Must agree to a post-offer pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing which will apply to both US and CW-1 workers.

Comments: EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position beginning March 01, 2022 and ending February 28, 2023. WORK HOURS: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment of thirty six (36) hours per week. THREEFOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE. The employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment.
