| Job Duties: | PERFORM WORK INVOLVING THE SKILLS OF TWO OR MORE MAINTENANCE OR CRAFT OCCUPATION TO KEEP MACHINES, MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT OR STRUCTURE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT IN REPAIR.. DUTIES MAY INVOLVE PIPE FITTINGS; BOILER MAKING; INSULATING; ALIGNING AND BALANCING NEW EQUIPMENT AND REPAIRING BUILDINGS FLOOR AND STAIRS. CONDUCTING ROUTINE INSPECTION OF PREMISES AND EQUIPMENT, PERFORMING PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, HANDLING BASIC REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OVERSEEING CONTRACTORS WHEN PROFESSIONAL REPAIRS ARE NECESSARY. DIAGNOSING MECHANICAL ISSUES AND CORRECTING THEM. PERFORMS GENERAL REPAIRS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE A SPECIALIZED TECHNICIAN EXAMPLES MAY INCLUDE REPAIRING DRYWALL, PAINTING, AND REPAIRING DOORS AND OTHER BUILDING FIXTURES. PERFORMS ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON BUILDING SYSTEMS, CLEANS AND ASSISTS WITH UPKEEP OF THE FACILITIES. DO OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. |
