| Job Duties: | Plans itineraries, and arranges accommodations and other travel services for Chinese customers; converses with customer using the Chinese language, Mandarin or fookien to determine destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, Financial considerations, and accommodations required; provides customer with brochures and publications containing travel information, such as local customs, point of interest, special events occurring in various locations, or foreign country regulations such as consular requirement and currency limitation; computes cost of travel and accommodations, using calculator, computer, carrier tariff books and hotel rate books ; quotes package tours cost to capture and or maintain new or existing accounts; books transportation and hotel reservation, using computer terminal or telephone with specific travel carrier ; collects payments for transportation and accommodations from customers, plans, describes, arranges, and sells itinerary tour packages and promotional travel incentives offered by various travel carriers, utilizing knowledge of available travel services and promotional techniques ; may specialize in foreign or domestic travel, individual or group travel, specific geographic area, airplane charters, or package tours provides assistance in handling group and individual escorted tours ; and performs other duties and responsibilities as maybe assigned by the job from time to time or for skill development. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have 1-2 years experience. Must be familiar with the Amadeus program/software.Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of principles and methods for describing the features of land, sea, and air masses, including their physical characteristics, locations, interrelationships, and distribution of plant, animal, and human life.Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. |
