| Job Duties: | Review, evaluate and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate and prevent disease or injury at workplace and project sites. Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations. Conduct health, safety and environmental training or education programs to employees and demonstrate the use of safety equipment. Conduct investigations of safety and environmental accidents. Maintain or update emergency response plans or procedures and maintain all safety related documentation. Make recommendations concerning the modification, improvement or removal of any company equipment, facilities or machinery that is hazardous to employee safety or health. *Special wage rate: Work to be performed on DPRI-funded projects will be paid no less than the indicated wage rate, but may be paid more where special Davis-Bacon Act rates apply. |
