| Job Duties: | Verify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary. Receive customer orders and respond to customer complaints. Review orders for completeness. Inform customers of order information, such as unit prices, or shipping dates, and any anticipated delays. Obtain customers’ names, addresses, and billing information. Recommend merchandise that will meet customers’ needs. Prepare invoices according to orders received. Check inventory records to determine availability of requested merchandise. Collect payment for merchandise ordered, record transactions and send items such as cash and checks for further processing at the main office. File copies of invoices, delivery receipts and other pertinent documents. Adjust or record inventory movement such as warehouse transfers. Perform other related duties assigned. |
