Job Title: | ACCOUNTING MANAGER |
Job Duties: | • Oversee the audit process and ensures that all audit schedules are prepared within a strict time frame in partnership with external auditors. Delegate tasks and deadlines to the accounting staff in support of the completion of the annual audit. • Develop and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP on a monthly and year-end basis. • Oversee month-end process and reconciliation of general ledger and bank accounts, chart of accounts and other financial records. • Manage the annual budget process and develop annual and monthly forecasts submitted to Management, including specifics salient to assist Management in decision making process and operational improvement plans. • Collaborate with heads/supervisors of other departments to streamline processes and procedures in relation to Accounting and Finance. • Oversee the financial reports for principal insurance carriers and other management reports as required. • Manage the tax and compliance reporting on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis in compliance with Federal and local laws. • Review and evaluate financial aspects of contractual agreements to ensure that obligations are understood by respective team. • Prepare financial reports and financial narrative for the Annual Shareholders and Board Meeting. • Establish, recommend and implement financial and accounting policies to ensure internal control in safeguarding company assets and recording of financial transactions. • Develop, establish and maintain professional relationships with key business partners, customers as well as clients finance functions. |
