Job Title: TRANSMITTER SUPERVISOR
Job Duties: Establish guidance for electronics system maintenance and operations. Uses advanced knowledge to analyze system failures and other unusual system occurrences to isolate the source of the problem and determine failure causes and recommends procedures for eliminating or reducing future failures. Evaluates action on requirements and specifications for communications equipment systems and networks. Provides overall technical advisory as well as assistance in the repair of high-power transmission systems. Oversee the management of IT communications programs and systems. Responsible for all functional areas assigned to Saipan and Tinian. Reviews maintenance and operations records, forwards completed documentation to the Tinian Site Manager. Maintains maintenance records for each transmitter and schedules routine planned maintenance. Develops and maintains transmitter plant Maintenance Plan for optimum performance and efficiency of the transmitter plant mission. Prepares sections 1.0, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.0, 9.0 of the Monthly operations report; sections 1.01, 1.02, 1.03, 1.04, 2.01, 2.02, 3.00, 4.00, 5.01, 5.02, and 6.02 of the Quarterly report; annual budget and quarterly financial plans to support the smooth operation and maintenance of all high power transmitters and ancillary equipment; revising and writing new station SOPs and SMPs as required. Enforces safety regulations, establishes “safe” maintenance procedures and has full responsibility for tool and test equipment control. Oversea and direct maintenance activities for the Building and Grounds Department. May be called upon to act as the Site Manager in the absence of the incumbent.

Qualification Requirements: Associates Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. Minimum of seven (7) years specialized experience as an Electronics Technician.
