Job Duties: | 1. Know and uphold the established Company Mission, policies and procedures, Company and Department objectives, quality assurance and safety programs and standards. 2. Perform data analysis and database management for company IT systems including maintenance and applications upgrades. 3. Design scripts and develop tools to automate periodic task and improve monitoring of system. 4. Work on multiple technology enhancement projects, reporting to project Team Lead. 5. Research and evaluate innovative technology solutions, collaborating with teams to determine feasibility of deployment. 6. Perform analysis and make recommendations regarding application servers and network related equipment and software. 7. Assist in the development and deployment of functional and system requirements based on customer and product demands and internal business needs to the company billing System. 8. Provide deployment support for new products from Marketing and new revised process flow requests from Customer Service, Billing or Accounting. 9. Provide technical inputs, deploy agreed configurations and support and track project progress. 10. Report and communicate project status updates to Department Head and key project contacts. 11. Work on multiple technology enhancement projects, reporting to project Team Lead. 12. Provide backup for Internet system, billing system maintenance and support 13. Serve as the interface between the user community and all system provider groups/companies and manage and support the implementation of new products and related services. 14. Identify and anticipate system solutions that improve operations and/or create cost savings opportunities for the Billing System, the Internet systems and prepaid calling cards 15. Remain professionally current on job-specific procedures through training courses, seminars, conferences, professional memberships, and the review of technical research papers and reports, data trends, and professional journals. 16. Serve as project manager on special projects, as assigned by the Department Head. 17. Work closely with the Enterprise team to create/develop and implement customized corporate solutions. 18. Work collaboratively with other departments to support and promote the product, including operational plans and processes. 19. Manage activities with key vendor partners to ensure product stability, customer experience, feature implementation and growth in-line with company goals 20. Maintain partnership and open communication with all internal teams to accomplish project implementation and company-wide initiatives. 21. Work with Marketing and MIS/Billing to ensure products undergo comprehensive testing and are working as designed prior to launch. 22. Monitor, Resolve and Analyze trouble tickets pertaining to company Products. 23. Document new process flows arising from newly created products and functionalities 24. Apply thorough professional knowledge and complex process in the wide area data network architecture, Web Interfaces, and other Application Programming Interfaces (API) developing and implementing for the enterprise Intranet environments. 25. Research and evaluate innovative technology solutions, collaborating with teams to determine feasibility of deployment. 26. Provide database support services for critical computer applications 27. Qualification Requirements: | Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field). Work Experience: Four or more years of experience performing Systems administration. Knowledge of Windows/Linux/SQL and Oracle jobs, along with automation. Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Knowledge of: a. Computer systems, computer hardware and software applications b. Network Elements and its interdependencies with each other as it relates to products and functionalities c. Basic principles and practices of office administration, communications and customer service etiquette 2. Basic Skills in: a. Web Design and Applications Development (IOS and Android) b. Troubleshooting difficult systems, hardware and software problems c. Use of personal computer hardware and Microsoft software programs d. Basic customer service skills 3. Ability to: a. Translate customer needs into technical solutions b. Create a team environment and maintain employee morale c. Analyze and interpret work situations, reports and results d. Be on call after work hours and on weekends |
