| Job Duties: | Plan, layout, install. maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. Plan new or modified installation to minimize waste of materials. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine location of wiring to ensure conformance to building and safety codes. Measure, cut, bend thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit, fitting/boxes. Install lightning fixtures/devices and auxiliary system. Pull wiring through conduit, Splice wires. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components. Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required. Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. |
