Job Title: STRUCTURAL METAL FABRICATORS AND FITTERS
Job Duties: Verify conformance of workplaces to specifications, using squares, rulers and measuring tapes, Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, thumbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars and hammers. Move parts into position manually or with hoists or cranes. Position, align, fit and weld parts to complete units or submits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches and handtools. Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences. Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders and drill presses to bend cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise for and assemble metal components. Lay out and examine metal stock or workpieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met. Tack weld fitted parts together. Lift or move materials and finished products. locate and mark workpiece bending and cutting lines. Erect ladders and scaffolding to fit together large assembles. Design and construct templates and fixtures

Comments: This job opportunity is a temporary full time position. Workdays: Monday to Friday: Work hours: 8 am to 3 pm. With this position the employer also offers the three fourths guarantee as required by CFR 655 Three fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first work day after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need. whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract. Transportation and Subsistence Costs. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse or advance payment for the workers transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completeion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where th employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved
