| Job Duties: | Remove corroded or damaged steel plates and pipes by using Oxygen/Acetylene torch,plasma cutters or power/hand tools. Fabricate steel plate & pipe inserts and perform repairs by welding. Perform all such work and tests/inspections as required by the representative of the American Bureau of Shipping. Clean all new and disturbed surfaces to ensure free of dirt, grease and flash rust. Apply one base coat and one top coat of paint to new and disturbed area. Welding work shall not be performed without a hot work permit and without a fire watch. This job requires living on a ship because the ship will be located at anchor in Saipan harbor. |

| Fringe Benefits: | This is a temporary,full-time position with working hours from 8AM to 5PM with an hour of meal break from Monday to Friday. O/T is not guaranteed but required to work as directed by the Chief Engineer.Three-Fourths Guaranteed as per the requirement of 20 CFR 655.423(f). Employer will provide transportation and subsistence free of charge to and from the place of employment including return transportation & subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity. Workman's Compensation is provided as required by law. Board & lodging is free. Employer will provide launch service to and from shore free of charge as per the launch schedule. Employee are required to keep their living spaces clean and tidy at all times to the satisfaction of the Master. |
