| Job Duties: | Slaughter livestock according to State & Federal law, regulations, and standards. Haul livestock to kill floor. Do pre-slaughter preparations and ensure that the operation is in compliance with USDA-FSIS standards. Inspect slaughter tools, cutting machines, and equipment are properly working and sanitized. Remove bones, cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash viscera of slaughtered animals to separate edible portions from offal. Shave or singe, and wash them in preparation for further processing or packaging. Clean, wash & sanitize kill floor, tools & equipment; wash slaughtering clothes, gloves, boots, etc. Throw slaughter waste such as blood, skin intestines, etc. Record quantity of meat received, issued, and keep records of meat sales, live animals purchases, and operating expenses. Negotiate with representatives from companies to determine order details. Estimate requirements and order or requisition of meat supplies to maintain inventories. Do other related duties as assigned from time to time. |

| Qualification Requirements: | High School graduate. Minimum of 1-year work-related experience. Familiar with beef & pork meat cuts and pricing. Must have knowledge in basic arithmetic, invoicing, petty cash reconciliation, and other monetary transactions. Specialized knowledge in slaughtering animals, meat cutting standards, or premium cuts for marketing and wrapping meats. Familiar with beef & pork meat cuts and pricing. Must be honest, trustworthy, and has no criminal or theft records. Must know the principles and processes for providing excellent customer services. Willing to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends. Hardworking, can work under less supervision and must be able to meet work deadlines. Must be physically fit to be able to handle all kinds of strenuous work. All applicants must be able to secure the CNMI driver’s license and Food Handlers Certificate. The work schedule for this position includes shifting & split shift and each beneficiary shall have different days off, each with 1-day off per week.
