Job Title: Aircraft Repairman
Job Duties: Summary of Duties: To assist maintenance personnel in the service, repair, and inspection of aircraft and aircraft components, parts and accessories. To perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and minor alterations on aircraft components and systems as authorized by the FAA. Specific Tasks: •Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes, under direct supervision. •Upon completion of work scope obtains the signature of a certified mechanic or work cards/forms or signs work cards for tasks performed as allowed by FAA Repairman Authorizations. •Ensures that proper documentation is made on training record for training received, and signed by the immediate Lead, Supervisor, or Manager. •Performs maintenance work such as repair and maintenance of company equipment and shop housecleaning under direct supervision.

Qualification Requirements: •Must have previously possessed a Repairman Certificate issued by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration in Accordance with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 65. The required certificate will be applied equally to both U.S. workers and CW-1 workers •Must be eligible for a repairman certificate in accordance with 14 CFR 65.101: (1) Be at least 18 years of age; (2) Be specially qualified to perform maintenance on aircraft or components thereof, appropriate to the job for which he is employed; (3) Be employed for a specific job requiring those special qualifications by a certificated repair station, or by a certificated commercial operator or certificated air carrier, that is required by its operating certificate or approved operations specifications to provide a Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program according to its maintenance manuals; (4) Be recommended for certification by his employer, to the satisfaction of the administrator, as able to satisfactorily maintain aircraft or components, appropriate to the hob for which he is employed; (5) Have either--(i) at least 18 months of practical experience in the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, machine tools, and equipment generally used in the maintenance duties of the specific job for which the person is to be employed and certificated; or (ii) completed formal training that is acceptable to the administrator is specifically designed to qualify the applicant for the job on which the applicant is to be employed; and (6) Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. The requirements under 14 CFR 65.101 will be applied equally to both U.S. workers and CW-1 workers •Must pass a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug test requirement under Title 14 CFR §120.109(a)(1): “No employer may hire any individual for a safety-sensitive function listed in §120.105 unless the employer first conducts a pre-employment test and receives a verified negative drug test result for that individual. The DOT/FAA pre-employment drug test requirement under Title 14 CFR 120.109(a)(1) will be applied equally to both U.S. workers and CW-1 workers

Comments: •The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 01, 2022 to September 30, 2025. •Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. •Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment.
