Job Duties: | 1. Serves meals by reviewing recipes, assembling, combining and ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen. 2. Executes cold food production in accordance with standards of plating guide specifications. 3. Attends to the detail and presentation of each order. 4. Places and expedite orders. 5. Prepares ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients; add seasonings, verifying taste; and plating meals. 6. Completes hot meal preparation by grilling, sauteing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients. 7. Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation and safety procedures and maintains appropriate dating, labeling and rotation of all food items. 8. Stores leftovers according to established standards. 9. Coordinates daily food supply inventory for the restaurant. Submits order to the supervisor or manager in charge. 10. Assist with receipt of deliveries with an inspection of the right quality and quantity. 11. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage and work areas. 12. Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules and dishwashing/pot washing as needed. |
