| Job Duties: | 1. To assist with the process of imaging, and not that of diagnosis as this is the key role of a physician 2. Taking pictures and/or recordings of the body while utilizing various imaging methods, which includes ultrasound technology. 3. Responsible for ensuring the patients safety during the course of the procedure. 4. Explain the procedure in layman terms to ensure a patients comfort. 5. Ability to produce a high-quality image consistently is crucial as this will help physicians to correctly provide diagnosis. 6. Instructing the patients to undergo the appropriate positions to get accurate images 7. Keeping logs and maintaining sonographic equipment in quality working order 8. Obtaining images for any areas requested by the physician or radiologist 9. Managing work schedules 10. Keeping track of patient records 11. Assisting radiologists and physicians in the process of understanding and evaluating the images 12. Provide consistent and high levels of Customer Care/Service for each patient. 13. Maintain patient records and add medical note s related to the ultrasound procedure. |
