Job Title: AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIANS AND MECHANICS
Job Duties: Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership. Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology. Inspect and test vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur. Do other automotive or mechanical job as assigned

Qualification Requirements: HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE OR EQUIVALENT WITH AT LEAST 12 MONTHS CONTINUED EXPERIENCE. KNOWLEDGEABLE IN GENERAL REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT SERVICES TO INCLUDE: TRUING ROTORS AND DRUMS, DISC DRUMS AND BRAKES, WHEEL ALIGNMENT, STRUTS AND SUSPENSION, ENGINE PERFORMANCE (TUNE-UP), FUEL SYSTEMS, CRUISE CONTROL, SOUND SYSTEMS, EXHAUST SYSTEMS, FLUID AND FILTER SERVICE, HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEMS, AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS, DRIVE TRAIN/U-JOINT SERVICE, FRONT WHEEL DRIVE/CONSTANT VELOCITY JOINTS AND SPECIALTY INSTALLATIONS
