Job Title: General Maintenance and Repairer
Job Duties: Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. Provide grounds keeping services, such as landscaping or snow removal. Perform general cleaning duties of buildings or properties. Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures. Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.

Qualification Requirements: Must have a High School/GED diploma or equivalent. Must have at least 1 year work experience and able to repair or maintain building property using hand or power tools. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs. Perform general cleaning duties of buildings or properties. Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures. Comments: This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position and must have 1 year of work experience. Work days will be Monday to Friday and work hours will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. With this position the employer also offers the three-fourths guarantee as required by 20 CFR 655.423(f) wherein three fourths is defined as an offer to workers full-time employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12- week period (or 6-week period if the employment covered by the job is less than 120 days.) Transportation and Subsistence: If the Employee completes 50 percent of the work contract, the employer will provide or reimburse the worker’s transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Outbound transportation and subsistence costs will be paid by the Employer if the Employee completes the work period covered by the work contract or where the worker dismissed earlier.
