Job Title: Operational Service Worker
Job Duties: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Service, clean, or supply restrooms. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours or checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Mow or trim lawns or shrubbery, using mowers or hand or power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds. Make adjustment or minor minor repair to heating or cooling, ventilating, plumbing, or electrical system. Do other duties task assigned

HANDLE BASIC MAINTENANCE . ABLE TO WORK SAFELY WITH A VARIETY OF CLEANING SUPPLIES. ABLE TO USE BASIC CLEANING EQUIPMENT. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

Comments: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1).
