| Job Duties: | Supervises and coordinates activities of cooks engaged in preparation of desserts, pastries, confections, and ice cream. Plans production for pastry department, according to menu or special requirements. Supplies recipies for, and suggests methods and procedures to pastry workers. Fashions tables and pastry decorations, such as statuaries and ornaments, form sugare paste and icings, using cream bags, spatula and varios decorating tools. Requests requisitions supplies and equipment. Maintains production records. May paticipate in preparing desserts and perform other related duties assigned. |
