| Job Duties: | Prepare & cook larger quantities of food for institutions, such as schools or cafeterias. Clean, cut & cook meat, fish or poultry. Cook food items according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions or numbers of portions to be served. Clean & inspect galley equipment, kitchen appliances & work areas to ensure cleanliness & functional operation. Direct activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing meals. Take inventory of food supplies & equipment. Monitor menus & spending to ensure that meals are prepared economically. Inspect facilities, equipment or supplies to ensure conformance to standards. Determine meal prices, based on calculations of ingredient prices. Plan menus that are varied nutritionally balanced & appetizing, taking advantage of food in season & locally availability. Train food preparation of food service personnel. Prepare requisition of food supplies, kitchen equipment & appliances, based on estimates of future needs. May perform other related duties as assigned. |

| Comments: | Anticipated schedule of work hours 2:30am to 9:30am from Monday to Friday. Workers are offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with first workday of employment up to the expiration of the contact. Workers will be provided transportation & subsistence while traveling from the worker's origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation & subsistence to the point of hire at the conclusion of job opportunity.
