Job Title: | BANQUET COORDINATOR |
Job Duties: | Provide guests with menus. Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seating. Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas. Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls. Operate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages. Speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, to respond to complaints, or to make conversation. Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed. Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup. Promoting the restaurants service to its target customers like tourists. Assures guests do not run short of food and drinks and that all tables within the venue are well-attended to. Ensure that health rules are strictly adhered to when it comes to food and beverage distribution/service. |

Qualification Requirements: | Must have 1 year work experience. High School graduate. Ensure that any event , it runs smoothly even if they face a complicated situation. He/she is required to take immediate action to nip any problem that may arise in the course of an event in the bud. Should be able to make difficult decisions so as to avoid unwanted negative surprises. Must know how to speak Chinese, Japanese and English language for tourist market. |

Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full time position commencing on October 1,2022 to September 30, 2023. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extension,if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: Employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work if worker completes 50 percent of the contract period. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
