Job Duties: | Job Summary: Under limited supervision by the General Service Supervisor, the Supply Worker performs all duties related to receiving, issuing, delivering, storing, shipping, and maintaining inventory items. The Supply worker is responsible for the receipt, storage and delivery of equipment, materials, mail, and company supplies to Company sites. In addition, the Supply Worker performs purchasing duties for inventory stock items and materials ordered on blanket Purchase Orders; contacts suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies; performs inventory analysis and obtains quotes, bids, and pricing information from suppliers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Employee will perform the following essential functions: [Note: This position is part of a 24-hour, 7-day-per-week operation and will involve shift work and possible overtime work) 1. Perform, as assigned, the daily operations of the General Service Division, to include shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, vehicle care and maintenance, facilities maintenance and repair, office moves, pick-ups and deliveries and other requests; ensuring that all the assigned tasks are accomplished in a controlled and orderly manner. 2. Receive material and equipment shipped to company. Uncrate and inspect shipments for damage. Prepare discrepancy reports, if needed. Inventory shipment and verify invoices and packing lists against Purchase Orders. Verify bill of lading, airway bills, customs taxes, and all associated documentation. Prepare Purchase Order Receiving Reports, and customer sales orders. 3. Issue warehouse inventory and materials for internal customers and contractors. Inspect and verify issuance forms and paperwork for correctness and proper authorization. Pick, log, and stage needed issuance materials. Input issuance data into company-computerized system and produce and forward sales orders to Accounting. Prepare re-stock requests for company inventory. 4. Process outbound shipment requests. Prepare shipment, packing with materials suited for its class, using electronic static sensitive precautions when necessary. Prepare invoices, packing lists, AWB and customs documentation. Respond to shipment inquiries and provides follow-ups. 5. Interface with and provides product assistance to Company staff to help fulfill departmental and project needs and requirements. 6. Deliver inventory, materials and supplies as required and prepares associated paperwork. Transports and distributes mail and packages throughout Company departments. Perform courier runs to airport, CNMI and Federal Post offices, governmental offices, as well as private businesses. 7. Utilize MS Navigation System and other computer software programs to record receipt and issuance of inventory, safekeeping, and other inventory management functions. 8. Coordinate with user departments in relation to creation of new inventory part numbers. Works with MS NAV Data 9. Prepare reports and completes associated forms, reports and related paperwork related to inventory management. 10. Assist the supply and transportation supervisor and Purchasing Supervisor with material management and purchasing activities. Analyze, plan, and forecast inventory turnover. Order materials, supplies, and equipment on purchase requisitions. Obtain price quotes and bids from suppliers and vendors as authorized by Purchasing Department. 11. Interface with internal and external customers with regard to purchase stock items of materials, supplies and equipment. Contact inbound and outbound freight forwarders, suppliers, overseas vendors, and supply points. 12. Coordinate and assist the purchasing section with regard to the purchase and delivery of inventory stock items and materials and supplies procured on blanket purchase orders. 13. Maintain inventory control and the procurement of stock inventory items and supplies; communicate with vendors and suppliers, as well as to internal divisions and departments regarding status of transactions. 14. Maintain supply and inventory records. Maintain security of File Retention storage areas for Accounting. 15. Provide manpower and logistical support to all Company departments and offices, as needed such as assisting in office moves and in setting up tents, tables and chairs for company functions. 16. Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and ensuring proper stacking and safety of inventory/non-inventory items inside the warehouse and in the cable yard. Operate manual/automatic and electrical (indoor) forklift in performance of duties. 17. Assist in maintenance of Company buildings, such as building painting and renovations, cleaning and painting parking lot stalls, minor building equipment repairs and other tasks within the employee’s capabilities. 18.
