Job Title: Banquet Reservations
Job Duties: • Receiving and inputting guest reservations • Make and confirm reservations. • Assisting guest reservation policy infractions (late cancellations, no-show, etc.) • Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers. • Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of hotels or motels. • Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems. • Verify customers' credit, and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation. • Review accounts and charges with guests during the check out process. • Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary. • Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests. • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions. • Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits.

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Three-Fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
