Job Title: ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER
Job Duties: 1. Will be involved in all aspects of teaching in the classroom. Includes lesson planning, grading, classroom management, after school academy, instruction, supervision, keeping a clean classroom, contacting parents, and extra-curricular activites. Will also be involved with church activities both in-reach and out-reach, church attendance is required. 2. To teach your assigned classes and to undertake such extra-curricular activities and supervisory duties as administration may assign. 3. Maintain careful records of attendance and scholastic performance in the register and grade book for that purpose; make course outlines and lesson plans as prescribed by the administration. 4. Maintain proper control of the students' behavior in the classroom, school grounds and premises in accordance with the rules and regulations stipulated in the Handbook. 5. Maintain neatness and cleanliness in the classroom and school grounds; create visual aides, posters and displays in bulletin boards, thus supporting a positive learning environment; be responsible for janitorial work in and around classroom and undertake supervisory duties at lunch hour, and at other times in rotation with other teachers. 6. Attend regular staff meeting as scheduled and other required meetings and events after school; join in-service sessions and workshops in order to maintain or increase your level of teaching skills. 7. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities considered as part of a normal load; work in harmony with school programs and activities outlined in the staff handbook/Bulletin, and other directives set forth by the Board and Administration.

Qualification Requirements: BACHELOR OF ARTS, SOCIOLOGY OR EDUCATION 12 MONTHS EXPERIENCE IN TEACHING (TEACHING EXPERIENCE IN SCHOOL OR RELATED SET UP).
