Job Duties: | Use knowledge of law enforcement products, firearms, sporting goods, uniforms, collectible card games, insignia, board games and hobby supplies, and other specialized product categories to recommend, quote, and sell to agency and individual customers through both retail and government channels. The employee will perform sales tasks independently. Tasks includes knowledgeably representing brands in accordance with dealer agreements to include companies/brands: 5.11 Tactical, Propper, Blackhawk!, Pelican International, Whelen, Fox International, Atlanco, Rothco, Wizards of the Coast, Asmodee, Konami, Wiz-Kids, Upper Deck, Smith & Warren, Blackinton, Heroes Pride, Cold Steel, Original SWAT, OtterBox, Safe Life Defense, Blauer, and others. Sales tasks include safe and accountable handling of products that may require special processes and procedures related to firearms, body armor, law enforcement insignia and badge, and other controlled sale items, to include compliance with ITAR and export laws and/or dealer agreements. The employee will independently perform tasks such as: pick-up, shipping and receiving of packages, processing customs declarations, delivery orders via motor vehicle, manage inventory, manage logistics services such as ocean and air cargo freight to and from the continental United States and the CNMI, manage accounts receivables, manage accounts payables, manage payroll, process and upload purchase orders, respond to requests for quotations and ITBs both in person and via electronic and telephonic means, perform market research, manage discrepancy work-offs, manage customer service, manage warranty claims, manage sales and sales strategy, create and submit corporate and business filings, assist in tax filing preparation, assist in website design and maintenance, be responsible for store security, plan and execute events coordination, attend and represent the company at local meetings and events, escalate and communicate issues and opportunities to upper management, consult and advise upper management, engage with suppliers and service providers to procure business and product services, hold and execute signatory authority to enter into purchase and sales agreements with customers and suppliers on behalf of the company, secure and be responsible for company cash and checks, perform banking transactions on behalf of the company to include daily deposits, pickup mail from the company post office box, resolve shipment discrepancies with service providers, perform back office functions, create and maintain processes and procedures that satisfy business and regulatory requirements, and other duties as assigned. The position includes supervisory duties. The supervisory tasks include: managing payroll and issuing paychecks, monitoring and reporting employee performance, directing daily tasks of sales associates, quality control and assurance of subordinates' work products and tasks, discuss performance evaluations and goals with subordinates, executing remediation plans for subordinates, managing work schedules, managing employee safety and accountability, mentoring and training of subordinates, interviewing and recommending new hire candidates to upper management, and other supervisory duties as assigned. The employee will execute duties by satisfactorily operating equipment and software such as: computers, printers, monitors, fax machines, credit card reader and receipt printer, personal motor vehicles, smart phone, Microsoft Office suite, QuickBooks POS, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, webmail, online badge building software, B2B software, and more. |

Qualification Requirements: | For the purposes of independently performing duties, must possess thorough understanding of: Procurement process of the CNMI government and agencies operating in the CNMI; Law enforcement and public safety uniforms, equipment, body armor, insignia, firearms, and associated products and brands; Collectible card games and hobby supplies; Logistics for shipments into the CNMI; financial management and payment systems of government entities within the CNMI; and managing and operating a retail store. Must be able to lift and carry 70 lbs. Must be legally able to drive within the CNMI. Overall, must have at least 48 months of full-time experience working in a retail environment. Must have experience with fixing software and hardware issues on personal computers. Must have at least 12 months of full-time experience working in a manager-level position of responsibility with limited oversight. Must have at least 12 months of full-time experience performing training, supervision, sales, product demonstrations, collections and negotiations on a daily to weekly basis. Must have experience with installing, configuring, and using QuickBooks POS. Must have at least 12 months of full-time experience using Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Webmail on a daily basis. The 48 months of required experience identified in Section E.b. Item 10. is intended to be for overall general retail work experience. The qualifications outlined in Section E.b. Item 12. further define specific skills and experiences required as part of the overall 48 months. |

Comments: | Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. On-the-job training will not be provided.
