| Job Duties: | Comply and maintain records of business transactions and office activities of establishment; interview clients, claimants especially for the firm's Japanese potential/existing clients under the supervision of attorney; monitor/supervise other secretaries on maintaining lawyers' meeting and hearings; maintain lawyers' meetings and hearings for the Firm's Japanese clients; organize and maintain case records; do business research work; assist lawyers in the Firm's administrative/personnel matters; assist lawyers in translating/communicating by joining in the meetings from/to Japanese/English languages for the Firm's Japanese clients; assist lawyers in translating/communicating from/to Japanese/English languages for court appearances for the Firm's Japanese clients in various cases e.g. civil family court, criminal court or traffic cases at CNMI Superior and U.S. District Court; advise, suggest or coordinate with lawyers for the Firm's development of Japanese clients; E-filing of pleadings for the Firm at CNMI Supreme, CNMI Superior, US District Court; receive, forward and send email messages for all the lawyers at the Firm appropriately at all times during working hours. Other related duties assigned. |
