Job Title: | MAINTENANCE & REPAIR WORKERS-GENERAL |
Job Duties: | Construct, erect, installs and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard using carpenters tools and power tools. Studies blue prints, sketches or building plans, repair manuals for information pertaining to types of materials required, performs any combination of the following duties on construction project, usually working in utility capacity by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and procedures while conducting any and all of the above evolutions. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoist, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. Perform routine maintenance and doing other preventive maintenance actions. Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoist, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electrical testing devices. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Technology Skills in operating systems software, electronic mail software and project management software, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and critical thinking. |

Qualification Requirements: | High School Diploma, minimum of 24 months experience in maintenance. U.S. and foreign workers must perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of a related support facility in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting, boiler making, insulating, wielding, machining, carpentry, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, installing aligning, and balancing new equipment, and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs. |
