Job Title: Computer Technician
Job Duties: Computer technicians offer remote support from an office or they perform hands-on work at the worksite, so they help get software, hardware and operating systems installed and configured. Set up and configure computers and peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, etc. Perform audits and test on computer systems, networks and hardware to ensure it is functioning properly. Respond to support requests and assist in troubleshooting any problems that arise. Attempt to replicate reported technical problems and look for solutions. Ensure all software and hardware is up-to-date and install updates as required. Perform routine preventative maintenance to avoid system outages and failures. Maintain computer network, system and hardware documentation for colleagues to reference. Train colleagues on how to effectively use computer systems and components
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Have at twenty-four months related experience. Must have strong attention to detail; Ability to understand and brainstorm creative solutions to complex problems is essential. Must have strong time management skills and work productively with minimal supervision; Familiarity and understanding of the functions of basic computer hardware and software; strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative attitude are a must; Ability to explain technical problems; Must have sound analytical thinking skills and attention to detail. Be able to work flexible shifts, days, evening, weekends and holidays.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2023. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
