Job Duties: PROVIDE TRAINING DIRECTION, ENCOURAGEMENT, MOTIVATION & ADVISE, TO PREPARE ATHLETES FOR GAMES, COMPETITIVE EVENTS, OR TOURS. PLAN, ORGANIZE, & CONDUCT PRACTICE SESSIONS. PLAN & DIRECT PHYSICAL CONDITIONING PROGRAMS THAT WILL ENABLE ATHLETES TO ACHIEVE MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. TRAVELS WITH & DIRECTS THE NATIONAL TEAMS DURING TRAININGS AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS GUAM, JAPAN, PHILIPPINES, AND OTHER COUNTRIES FOR INTERNATIONAL MATCHES ORGANIZED BY THE ASIAN FOOTBALL CONFEDERATION (AFC), AND EAST ASIAN FOOTBALL FEDERATION (EAFF). CORDINATE ATHLETIC OR SPORTING EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES. WILL SUPERVISE 3 PERSONNEL: (A) 1 ASST. COACH – TRAINING & EDUCATION; (B) 1 ASST. COACH – GRASSROOTS & ELITE; & (C) 1 ASST. COACH – WOMEN’S FOOTBALL.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN SPORTS SCIENCE, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, OR RELATED MAJOR. WITH 2 YEARS MINIMUM COACHING EXPERIENCE. KNOWLEDGE OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF SOCCER GAMES. KNOWLEDGE ON PROPER TRAINING AND ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE TECHNIQUES TO IMPROVE ATHLETES’ PERFORMANCE. PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL COACHING CERTIFICATE OR “A” COACHING CERTIFICATE REQUIRED UNDER AN AFC OR OTHER EQUIVALENT INTERNATIONAL LICENSING PROGRAM. CAPABLE OF SUPERVISING PERSONNEL FOR: (A) TRAINING & EDUCATION; (B) GRASSROOTS & ELITE; AND (C) WOMEN’S FOOTBALL. THE JOB REQUIRES TRAVELS DURING TRAINING CAMPS AND COMPETITIONS TO: DEDEDO, GUAM (POSTAL CODE 96912); BUNKYO-KU TOKYO, JAPAN (POSTAL CODE 113-8311); AND METRO MANILA, PHILIPPINES (POSTAL CODE 1771). TRAVEL TO OTHER COUNTRIES FOR INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS ORGANIZED BY AFC AND EAFF.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on January 17, 2023 to January 16, 2024. THREE FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays or the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work upon completion of the work contract. Or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
