Job Title: Welder, Cutter / Welder Fitter
Job Duties: Remove corroded or damaged steel plates/pipes by using Oxygen/Acetylene torch, plasma cutters or power/hand tools. Fabricate steel plate/pipe inserts and perform repairs by welding. Perform all such work and inspections as required by the representative of the American Bureau of Shipping. This job requires living on a ship because the ship will be located at anchor in Saipan harbor.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Must have minimum 12 months welding experience and must hold Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ) duly certified by the American Bureau of Shipping.

Fringe Benefits: This is a temporary full-time position with working hours from 8AM to 5PM with an hour of meal break from Monday to Friday. Three-Fourths guaranteed as per the requirement of 20 CFR 655.423(f). Employer will provide transportation and subsistence free of charge to & from the place of employment, including return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity. Workman's Compensation is provided as required by the law. Board & lodging is free. Employer will provide launch service to & from shore free of charge as per the launch schedule. Employee is required to keep their living quarters clean at all times to the satisfaction of the Master.
