Job Title: Building Maintenance
Job Duties: Maintains standard of guest rooms & repairs of all building fabrics. Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using various hand tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing device. Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, equipment, belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters systems, pumps, playgrounds equipment and other preventive maintenance actions. Maintain or repair specialized equipment or machinery located in the hotel. Perform general cleaning duties of buildings or properties including swimming pools and recreational areas within the hotel. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical (cooling and heading), pipe systems, plumbing, machinery or equipment. Reports any damage or unsafe conditions. Participates in the execution of the preventative maintenance scheme. Dismantles and overhauls areas such as pumps, compressors, and pipe systems and water systems as needed. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations including handling of chemicals. Makes use of reusable items and implement any established policy. Ensure completion of planned maintenance programs. Performs routine inspections, adjusts & repairs all fixtures, fittings and equipment & maintains them in good working condition. Performs preventive maintenance of swimming pool daily. Maintains ideal water condition, safety and cleanliness of the pool. Interpret technical drawings or specification using diagrams, blueprints maintenance manual or schematic diagrams to lay out work repairs. Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, and other part of the building. Operating cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Perform routine maintenance on boilers, such as replacing burners or hoses, installing replacement parts, or reinforcing structural weaknesses to ensure optimal boiler efficiency. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments. Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or other wooden structures, such as sheds or outbuildings. Position, attach, or blow insulating materials to prevent energy losses from buildings, pipes, or other structures or objects. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments. Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or other wooden structures, such as sheds or outbuildings. Estimate costs to repair machinery, equipment, or building structures. Grind and reseat valves, using valve-grinding machines. Use tools, equipment, material and chemical safely and efficiently. Perform any other duties and may be assigned from time to time by the Engineering Management.

Qualification Requirements: High school diploma/GED. At least 24 months of working experience, knowledge in equipment maintenance, determining and troubleshooting causes. Able to work flexible work shifts, weekends and holidays, and may be required to work overtime on occassion when the department needs. Able to list up to 50 lbs regularly, safely climb ladders while carrying up to 30lbs. Able to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, crawl, kneel. Work at heights up to 100 ft. Work under extreme weather conditions. Understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, official apprenticeship preferred.

This a temporary, full-time position of at least 35 hours per work week with employment period beginning March 01, 2023 to February 28, 2026. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Deductions: Employer provided housing is optional for the cost of $100.00 per month (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(j)(1)).
