Job Title: | Food & Beverage Supervisor |
Job Duties: | To assist in the effective and efficient management and delivery of all bar, restaurant and banquets food and beverage activities within the operation. to promote a customer focused culture within pic by example and by encouraging in house training of all team members through an agreed training plan. To assist in the management of the outcomes of monthly customer reviews, linking these to changes in procedure and team training. To ensure the use of current standard operation procedures by all team members within the department. Must be knowledgeable of POS systems, verse in all transactions including void, credit card process and closing out sales. To be able to work within any section within the food and beverage department. To be responsible for managing the time keeping records for all team members on your shift. To ensure the effective management, motivation, training and development of all team members employed in the bars and restaurants. To ensure PIC facilities comply with all relevant legislation relating to health and safety, food hygiene regulations and licensing legislation. To promote a safe, healthy and environmentally secure environment. To ensure the ongoing compliance with statutory requirements relating to the work of the department. Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day or shift. Resolve customer complaints regarding food service. Train workers in food preparation, and in service, sanitation, and safety procedures. inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards. Control inventories of food, equipment, small ware, and liquor, and report shortages to designated personnel. Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures in order to ensure quality standards and service. Assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements. Estimate ingredients and supplies required to prepare a recipe. perform personnel actions such as hiring and firing staff, consulting with other managers as necessary. Analyze operational problems, such as theft and wastage, and establish procedures to alleviate these problems. Assists and coordinates all aspects of F&B room and facilities set up, including food and beverage service. Performs other related duties as assigned for all banquet functions. |

Qualification Requirements: | High school diploma/GED. At least 12 months of working experience, have knowledge of principle and processes for providing customer and personal services in meeting quality standards and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Able to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays, and may be required to work overtime on occasion with department needs. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up 10-25 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling and crouching. Hotel/resort experience preferred. |

This a temporary, full-time position of at least 35 hours per work week with employment period beginning March 01, 2023 to February 28, 2024. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Deductions: Employer provided housing is optional for the cost of $100.00 per month (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(j)(1)). |
