Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Duties: Provide supervision of maintenance staff by assisting in maintaining a safe working environment by monitoring the general condition of the property, the safety procedures and equipment. Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly. Organize tools and equipment to perform daily assignments. Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads. Inform designated employees or departments of items loaded or problems encountered. Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems. Provide general information or address specific topics such as safety, during staff meetings. Monitor & maintain sufficient supplies and tool inventory for staff's use in accomplishing their task. Assist in resolving personnel problems, complaints, or formal grievances when possible, or refer them to higher-level supervisors for resolution. Participate in the hiring process by reviewing applications, conducting interviews, or making recommendations. Assist in recommendations for energy saving ideas. Comply and enforce all OSHA and safety guidelines. Perform other related tasks as determined by supervisor and management.

Qualification Requirements: Have knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures and stratesies to promote effective maintenance and security operations for the protection of guests, employees and hotel facility in general. Knowledge and undersatnding of general building repair and maintenance. Able to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays, and may be required to work overtime on occassion with department needs. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50lbs, bending and reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling or crouching.

This a temporary, full-time position of at least 35 hours per work week with employment period beginning March 01, 2023 to February 28, 2026. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Deductions: Employer provided housing is optional for the cost of $100.00 per month (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(j)(1)).
