Job Title: Engineering Manager
Job Duties: Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities or engineering projects. Direct, review, or approve project design changes. Confer with management, production, or marketing staff to discuss project specifications or procedures. Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients. Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications. Performs work related to design and survey, estimating costs of capital projects, short and long-term planning relating to the Hotel’s infrastructure, as well as supervises a crew of employees. Responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest suites, meeting space, restaurant and common areas. Guest suite and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. Perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and laundry equipment. Performs work related to design and survey, estimating costs of capital projects, short and long-term planning relating to the Hotel’s infrastructure, as well as supervises a crew of employees. Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, the quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel. Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules. Investigate accidents or injuries and prepare reports of findings. Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance. Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts. Inspect, test, and measure completed work, using devices such as hand tools or gauges to verify conformance to standards or repair requirements. Calculate design specifications or cost, material, and resource estimates, and prepare project schedules and budgets. Compile and maintain records documenting engineering schematics, installed equipment, installation or operational problems, resources used, repairs, or corrective action performed. Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, or maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use. Develop, implement, or evaluate maintenance policies and procedures. Compute estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials, labor, or outside contractors. Examine objects, systems, or facilities and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs. Performs other task as determined and assigned by supervisor and management. Any special project or task assigned by management or supervisor should be conducted

Qualification Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Management related field. Have at least five (5) years of work-related experience. Able to demonstrate specific skills: Great Analytical and math skills; incredible problem solving abilities; ability to collaborate with many other teams; ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product; interpersonal skills to manage a team of engineers; ability to give constructive criticism; ability to make decision quickly. Physically capable to lift at least 50 lbs. and able to work in extreme weather conditions. Be able and willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evenings, weekends and holidays
