Job Title: Food Preparation Worker
Job Duties: Prepare workstation with required ingredients and equipment, and keep station sanitary and organized throughout the shift. Weigh or measure ingredients, such as meats and liquids, vegetables. Preparing ingredients following recipes and guidelines. Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits and vegetables, to prepare for cooking or serving. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes. Inventory ingredients using inventory system and fill out order forms. Remove trash and clear storage bins. Ensure that all ingredients are sealed and labeled properly. Perform other duties as assigned
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: High School graduate With 3 months of work experience. Knowledge of techniques and equipment in food preparation, including storage/handling techniques; Able to develop or create new recipes; Knowledgeable in relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or nationality security operations for the protection of people, data, property and institutions; Able to operate inventory system.

Comments: The employee that will be hired will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If the employee completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the employee is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the employee’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the employee originally departed to work, except where the employee will not return due to subsequent employment. The employer or where the employer has appropriately reported an employee’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
