Job Title: Counter Attendants, Cafeteria, Food Concession, Coffee Shop
Job Duties: Scrub and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment and clean glasses, dishes and fountain equipment.Prepare bills for food, using cash registers, calculators oradding machines, and accept payment or make change. Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes to keep equipment and facilities sanitary. Balance receipts and payments in cash registers. Serve food, beverages or desserts to customers in such setting as take out counters of restaurant or lunchrooms, business or industrial establishments, hotel rooms, and cars. Cook food or prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, and ice cream dishes, using standard formulas following directions. Brew coffee and tea, fill containers with requested beverages. Wrap menu item such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts for serving or for take out. Replenish foods at serving stations. Take customers orders using POS tablet system, giving ticket stubs to customers when needed to identify filled orders.

Qualification Requirements: Education required: High School/GetThere (3) months work experience required. Knowledge of Point of Sales Software. Familiarity with Microsoft windows operating system. Pay attention to details when taking orders or receiving instructions from supervisor. Actively looking for ways to help customers and co-workers, as a team. Ability to speak well to convey information effectively. Must be able to work on shift. Familiarity with the use of Counter Tools: coffee maker, blenders, beverage dispensers, icemakers, and credit card machines.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or wherethe worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
