Job Duties: | Prepare specialty Cuisine* Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met. * Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations. * Check the quantity and quality of received products. * Order or requisition food and other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation. * Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation. * Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards. * Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays. * Instruct cooks and other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food. * Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients. * Collaborate with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers. |

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Three-Fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. |
