Job Duties: | Create dance routines that work with the music and lyrics of production or performance. Read through a script and interpret each song, creating dance sequences to match the song and interpret a story through dance. Direct rehearsals to instruct dancers on how to use a dance step, and techniques to achieve desired effects. Experiment with different types of dancers, steps, dances, and placements, testing ideas informally to get feedback from dancers. Direct and stage dance presentations for various forms of entertainment. |
