Job Duties: | The Accounting Associates position is responsible for providing assistance to the Accounting Manager in all aspects of accounting operations such as processing of payroll, filing of taxes, coordination with external auditors, processing of disbursement, preparing invoices to agents and other customers, monitoring of collections and daily cash flows and other miscellaneous tasks related to accounting. Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner. Classify, record and summarize financial transactions and post the journal entry in the Accounting system. Check and reconcile balance sheet and expense accounts to ensure integrity of all financial data. Complete and submit tax forms and returns and other government reports requirements. Match the receipt of goods and services with the vendor invoices and process payments. Calculate charges to agents and other customers, prepare invoices, monitor collections and make follow ups. Check daily sales collections and prepare cash for deposit. Reconcile records of bank transactions and prepare daily cash flow report. Prepare Aging Report of Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable. Summarize daily sales of Hotel, Golf and Restaurant including occupancy rate, golf rounds and number of customer per market. Handling of petty cash and change funds. Monitor and ensure that all permits and licenses renewals are processed and paid before expiration date. Prepare purchase order in the absence of Purchasing staff. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. |

Qualification Requirements: | Must have Associate degree in Accounting with 2 years work experience as Accounting Assistant or Accountant, knowledgeable in accounting principles and practices particularly in accounts receivables, accounts payable, inventory and bank reconciliation. Ability to communicate in English. Must be computer literate. Preferably with knowledge in different software applications such hotel opera, micros pos, e-golf system and MAS200 accounting system. |

Comments: | The Job Opportunity is temporary full time position. THREE-FOURTHS GURANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place where the worker originally departed to work, except, where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
