Job Title: Asset Protection Associate
Job Duties: Implements procedures and systems to prevent merchandise loss, conduct and audit investigation of employee activity. May assist in developing policies, procedures, and systems for safeguarding assets. Implements or monitor processes to reduce property or financial losses. Identify and report merchandise or stock shortages. Maintain documentation or reports in controlling inventories and assets. Verify proper functioning of physical security systems, such as closed-circuit televisions, alarms, sensor tag systems, or locks. Identify and report safety concerns to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct company audits to identify problem areas or procedural deficiencies. Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures for loss prevention, or risk management. Monitors and performs covert surveillance of areas such as receiving areas, loading docks, distribution centers, or warehouses. Prepare written reports to management on investigations. Recommend methods to reduce potential fraud losses, coordinate with Human Resources, or other departments to assist in company programs, investigations. Respond to critical incident, such as catastrophic events, violent weather, or civil disorders. Recommend new or improved processes or equipment to reduce risk exposure. Conduct employee background investigations and review reports with managers.

Qualification Requirements: 12 months work-related skills, knowledge or experience is needed. Must at least be high school graduate or its equivalent. Must be computer literate with specialized knowledge in Microsoft software programs. Must have the ability for problem sensitivity which involves not only solving the problem but recognizing if there is a problem and different issued concerned. Must have the ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or a pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules. Must have the ability to generate or use different sets of rules for combining or grouping things in different ways
