Job Title: | Regional Wireless Inventory Supervisor |
Job Duties: | Job Summary: The Regional Wireless Inventory Supervisor, under the guidance and general supervision of the Executive Director, Customer Operations, maintains the operational regional inventory and physical control of wireless devices, accessories, prepaid load cards, and sim cards, to ensure adequate inventory are available for issuance by Customer Service, CPM, Enterprise and Marketing for Guam and CNMI operations. The Employee ensures that units are ready for sale or internal use, maintains an electronic inventory of new and used units on hand, works with off-island vendors for exchanges or replacements, and prepares a daily transaction report. The Wireless Inventory Supervisor supervises lower-level staff, as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Employee will: 1. Know and uphold the established IT&E Mission, policies and procedures, IT&E and Department objectives, quality assurance and safety programs and standards. 2. Oversee/supervise assigned staff and operational activities in the Wireless Services; supervise the wireless inventory facilities to include the Customer Service Inventory section. 3. Submit Requisition Orders for handsets, wireless cards, and landline units to ensure sufficient regional inventory is available for daily operations. 4. Coordinate with Customer Service, CPM, Enterprise, and Marketing Departments to determine quantity and types of units needed in the operational inventory for forecasted needs. 5. Prepare Material Requisition Form and coordinate with Guam inventory and General Services for the preparation and delivery of the required quantity and types of wireless devices and cards that are needed for daily operations. 6. Request for shipping updates on pending orders from Purchasing Department. Report any issues on shipments. 7. Transfer IMEIs of Cellular phones requested/received to all store locations. 8. Monitors and maintains a daily Regional Inventory movement report to ensure ample stock in both regions at all times. 9. Performs a monthly audit of slow-moving/ aged inventory for redistribution to ensure FIFO standards are met. 10. Alert product team when handsets are sold out or available, for update on the online store. 11. Insert Warranty information and HAC labels on all phones prior to distribution and/or issuance in compliance with FCC requirement. 12. Maintain integrity of the inventory of cell phones and wireless cards, and issue product items to Customer Service, CPM, Enterprise, and Marketing upon receipt of appropriate documentation. 13. Assist Customer Service and Enterprise Department representatives in explaining capabilities of telephone units to customers. 14. Receive all defective telephone units from Customer Service and Enterprise; determine the condition of returned phones and provide replacement units, as necessary, and ship defective units to vendors for repair or replacement. 15. Maintain inventory on CostGuard and NAV, and update it to show issuances, returns, changes to prices or errors; coordinate with the system administrator regarding errors or problems with the inventory. 16. Maintain control log of all handsets that are checked out for reasons other than transfers. Responsible for holding personnel accountable for checking handset units out and ensuring that they return it back in same condition as when checked out. 17. Maintain records for loaner, admin, TSR, donations, and employee issuances. 18. Keep all staff involved in the sales and marketing of wireless products up-to-date regarding any new products, price changes or other related-information through e-mail messages. 19. Conduct inventory count monthly to ensure that all phones are properly accounted for; reconcile Inventory discrepancies for all outlets. 20. Coordinate with technicians for the provisioning of phones and ensure that all phones are provisioned prior to issuance and distribution. 21. Conducts monthly verification of Finance Department records of used and aged inventory and performs any necessary systems clean ups. 22. Prepare a monthly regional FCC/HAC report for submission to IT&E regulatory officer. 23. Prepare a weekly inventory report to the Marketing department showing all daily inventory activity and provide feedback regarding slow moving inventory needing to be placed on promotion. 24. Conduct month-end, semi- annual, and annual inventory count and submit final report to the Accounting Department. 25. Create new SKU’s and product catalog information in CostGuard. 26. Hold designated personnel accountable for checking assigned test units. 27. Cross-train other staff in various aspects of this position to prepare them to fill in as needed and for possible succession. 28. Oversees all accessories ordering and replenishments. 29. Prepare and approve timecards & evaluations for Wireless staff. 30. Assist other staff and functional areas in their areas of responsibility, as needed. 31. Perform other related duties or tasks as assigned or required. |
