Job Title: | GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER |
Job Duties: | Performs general repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, painting, custodial, and assist with AC maintenance and repairs; Cleans and inspects AK pounding basin; treats with proper chemicals; Replaces broken windows; repairs doors, door locks and closets; installs window blinds; Completes monthly Environmental Health and Safety Inspections on buildings and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures; Maintains records and Inspects fire extinguishers on a monthly basis; Complies with the requirement of health and safety, other relevant legislation, and company policies; Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed; Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required; Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures; Performs outside custodial duties such as debris removal as required; Obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed; Performs porter tasks as required including setting up and clearing away furniture, equipment, etc.; Clean light fittings and test lighting systems weekly replacing where necessary minor parts such as tubes, bulbs, fuses, starters, and diffusers in accordance with safe working practices; Clear blockages: remove foreign matter from sinks, toilets, drains, kitchen grease traps etc. and clean up spillages as required; Ensure that gullies, drains etc. are kept free from debris and that the dealership grounds are litter free; Performs any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job; Maintains professional appearance and neat work area. |

Qualification Requirements: | 24 MONTHS EXPERIENCE IN GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORK IN AUTO DEALERSHIP. MUST HAVE A CNMI ISSUED DRIVER'S LICENSE; GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF OCCUPATIONAL HAZARDS AND SAFETY; ABILITY TO USE HAND TOOLS AND POWER TOOLS. |
