Job Title: | HVAC TECHNICIAN |
Job Duties: | Test electrical circuits components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution. Join pipes or tubing to equipment and fuel water, or refrigerant source, to form complete circuit. Reassemble and test equipment following repairs. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. Lay out and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment, according to wiring diagrams, using an electrician's hand tools. Obtain and maintain required certifications. Install, connect, and adjust thermostats., humidistats and timers, using hand tools. Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedure, including safety procedures and maintenance of clean work area. Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications or detect and locate malfunctions. Does other duties as assign from time to time. |

Qualification Requirements: | High school Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent at least one year experience as an HVAC Technician and a Certificate of Employment. Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigerator and heating, working knowledge of boiler systems. Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC Protocols. Proficient in reading schematics and work plans. Ability to work after hours, over the weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice. Ability to work in confined spaces ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the occupational health and safety act. |

Comments: | (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. (2) WORK HOURS Employees hired under this announcement will work full-time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. (3) THREE-FOURTHSGUARANTEE Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of works hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE. The employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the work originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment.
